LEARNING BY DEGREES

December 6, 2007 is a summons meeting for the purpose of electing our 2008 officers. Dinner will be served at 7 PM and the meeting will start at 8 PM. We will also read the names of all members who have not paid their dues and decide whether or not to suspend them. We do not want to lose anyone. Please let us hear from you if you are not current with your dues and we will work something out.

We will have a stated meeting on November 1st and we will try to have a degree on November 29th if the candidate is ready.

Our Grand Master’s visit went well. We had a large turnout and everyone had a great time.

The work on our lodge is progressing and we hope to have it looking good for our installation.

Dues notices will be out in a few days . We are a little later than usual but you should have them soon. Please remember to give a little extra for those who cannot help at all.

Veterans Day will be observed on November 11, 2007. Remember our veterans in your prayers and a special prayer for our military people all over the world serving this great nation so that we can live in peace and harmony.

Thanksgiving is also this month. It is a special day for gathering with friends and family and offering our thanks for the many blessings we share.

This has been a good year for our lodge. Everyone has worked hard and the support of all of our members has been outstanding. We are looking forward to 2008. We have some new members who are eager to help and we have some new members who are eager to help and we have some old members who are willing to teach them.

We are saddened by the loss of two of our beloved past masters in October, W Robert Mull and W Marvin Zalis. The were both past masters of Meridian Daylight Lodge and labored long and hard in the vineyards of Masonry. We will miss them ever miss the. Our hearts go out to their families and their loved ones.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING --------------------------- PRAY FOR PEACE
