We have two degrees scheduled for this month and a visit from the District Deputy Grand Master. Our officers are studying hard and learning the work and we have several projects to accomplish on our property. March is Masonic youth month and the Rainbow Girls will be here to visit us on March 6th. All of our youth groups are growing again and that is certainly encouraging. For those of you who live close enough to visit the lodge, it would be nice to see you here for our degrees and any other time you can make it. To those who live too far away to visit the lodge, we what you to know that you are still a very important part of all that we do here. We could not survive without you. Changes are taking place in our community every day. In fact, believe it or not they are tearing down the Orange Bowl Stadium and plans are underway to build a new baseball stadium there. Several of our schools have teen torn down and replaced. Hialeah Elementary has a new building but they haven’t torn down the old one yet. Mahi Shrine has not been sold but they are in litigation and will probably settle within the next few months. The Masonic Service Association has sent out an appeal for help for the devastating storm they had back in December. You may send your assistance in the form of a check to MSA Disaster Relief Fund, 8210 Fenton Street, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910-4785. We are having an affair at the Scottish Rite on March 8th to raise funds for the Masonic Research Lab in New York. This is our Grand Master’s Charity this year and the 33rd, 34th, 35th and 36th Districts are sponsoring this event. It should be quite an affair. The religious holidays are coming early this year. Strange, but that is the way our calendar works. Don’t forget to spring forward on March 9th. Please keep us posted on your address. Include us when you send out your changes of address.
